Help Wanted: Puppy Cuddlers

We’ve been inundated with puppies, and we need help caring for them!

The little guys and gals are adorable, and we love having them at the shelter. But because they’re too small to be spayed or neutered, they’re not ready for the adoption floor.

What they really need now is a loving and safe home where they can lounge around, play, and get lots of attention from humans.

Are you a lover of puppies? Do you have extra time in your day to feed, tend to and pamper these little ones?

If so, please fill out a foster volunteer application. If you live closest to our Palo Alto location, complete this form.  If you live closest to our Redwood City location, complete this form

These houseguests won’t stay long--just a week or two--and we promise they’ll bring you lots of good cheer.

We rely on foster care volunteers to enable our life-saving work. Foster care volunteers nurture animals in their homes until they are ready to be matched permanently with a loving family.

There are few volunteer activities more rewarding than fostering a pet. In the case of these puppies, you’ll support their growth and watch them mature a little bit every day.
If you have additional questions about fostering, check out our FAQs or send us a note. Palo Alto inquiries go to Vanessa, vhidden@petsinneed.org. Redwood City inquiries go to Crystal, cmanning@petsinneed.org.
