At Pets In Need, we strive to use your donations effectively and responsibly. This year, we were rated as a four star charity—the highest rating possible—by Charity Navigator. Charity Navigator has very rigorous standards that they use to evaluate nonprofits. They measure financial stability, volunteer engagement, program delivery, and fundraising cost-effectiveness. We are one of only three animal rescue groups in Northern California to have the four-star distinction.
