your gift saves lives

Give Hope, Healing, and Homes to Pets in Need

Make a Difference for Animals in Need

Make your most generous gift today to help animals in your community. This is what the Say Yes Campaign is all about—saying “Yes” to animals who need extra help and, in doing so, bringing families closer together. This holiday season, we’re asking you to give your most generous gift to help more pets like Leo have the chance to heal and find joy again.

On the tenth Day of Pawlidays…

Meet Hei Hei, a 1-year-and-6-month-old male guinea pig ready to bring joy and snuggles to a loving home. Whether you’re a seasoned guinea pig owner or new to the joys of small pets, Hei Hei is the perfect fluffy friend to brighten your days.

Interested in making Hei Hei part of your family? His adoption fee is completely waived! Meet him at our Palo Alto shelter today.

New! COmmunity Veterinary CLinic

Our new Community Veterinary Clinic offers high-quality, affordable care to keep pets healthy and thriving. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, flea & tick prevention, microchipping, deworming, basic diagnostic testing, and pet health advice. Designed for routine wellness visits, the clinic focuses on preventative care. For emergency or specialized treatment, please consult your primary care veterinarian or a local emergency clinic.

Low-cost vaccine clinic

Stop by our Palo Alto shelter every Wednesday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for low-cost vaccines and flea preventative care.

Space fills up quickly so we recommend arriving by 10 am to ensure your pets are seen the same day. If the clinic fills up early, we may not be able to see all clients until the following week.

For further details, visit Vaccine Clinic.

Get Involved

As a non-profit organization, everything we do is made possible through donations of funds, supplies, and time from members of the community. There are many ways to support Pets In Need, including fostering, volunteering and donating cash or in-kind gifts that help us carry out our life-saving mission.

Volunteer your time

We are constantly in search of animal lovers to join our volunteer team and help socialize, exercise, and train our dogs and cats.

Make a Donation

Gifts from the general public are our lifeblood. They allow us to provide our animals with essential care. We are totally supported by private gifts, adoption, and program fees.
