Get Into the Holiday Spirit with the Christmas Puppies

Looking at them now, you’d be surprised to learn that Jangle, Jingle, Joy, Kringle, and Trinket were in bad shape when we pulled them from a public shelter in Fresno. They were filthy, underweight, and fearful of the very people who were trying to help them. 

Our dedicated staff got to work patching them up. We treated them for worms, fleas, and malnutrition and gave them healthy food and a soft, warm place to sleep. When they were on the road to recovery, we sent them to foster homes.

With a lot of patience,and numerous of treats, our foster families brought the puppies out of their shells. Soon, the photos started trickling in: puppies snoozing in laps, puppies frisking around, and puppies gnawing on toys.

While the Christmas puppies still have a long road ahead, we’re proud of the progress the 6-month-old cuties have made.  Three of the littermates—Jangle, Joy and Trinket—are at our Redwood City shelter and ready to meet their adoring fans.
