About Bluey
Estimated age: 1.5 Years
Gender: Female
Size: 38 lbs.
Location: Redwood City
This affectionate girl lives for companionship, thriving on love and attention from her favorite humans. Whether it’s a cuddle session on the couch or simply being by your side, Bluey is happiest when she’s close to those she loves. When it’s time to play, Bluey’s enthusiasm is contagious! She adores romping around with her toys and engaging in fun activities like tug-of-war or a game of fetch. Bluey has a positive history of living with other dogs and even cats, showcasing her adaptable and friendly nature. She’s crate-trained, potty-trained (as far as we know), and can be left alone for a few hours at a time. These qualities make her a great fit for a home that appreciates her balanced mix of independence and affection. She loves her training time and enrichment, although she does possess a bit of a short attention span, which only adds to the experience.
That said, Bluey has a few quirks that her future family should understand and embrace. She’s reactive to noises and other dogs on walks, so she’ll need a patient and understanding handler to help her navigate these situations. Bluey can also come on strong when meeting new dogs, so slow, curated introductions are a must for a successful meet. Due to neurological challenges, she finds walks difficult and would thrive in a home that can provide alternative outlets for her energy and enrichment.
Bluey is looking for a loving home ready to provide her with the care and understanding she deserves. With her affectionate nature, playful spirit, and capacity for endless cuddles, she’s sure to be a cherished companion for the right family. If you’re ready to welcome this one-of-a-kind sweetheart into your life, Bluey can’t wait to meet you!
