Taz- Adopted 9/21
About Taz
Estimated age: 2 years
Gender: Male
Size: 42 lbs.
Location: Redwood City
Meet me at the Redwood City shelter on Saturday, September 7th for Clear the Shelters! My adoption fee has been sponsored and will be waived!
He's a gentle soul who thrives on gentle pets and the occasional indulgence of delicious snacks. Taz would be happiest in a calm and patient household, ideally with adults or older teens who can respect his boundaries and give him the space he needs to feel secure. Taz is almost always excited for walks, where he enjoys exploring and leaving his mark on the world. If you're seeking a loyal and affectionate companion who will lean his bottom against you for attention, Taz might just be the perfect match for your family.
A note from Taz’s foster parent:
”Taz loves to snack and catches them in mid-air if they’re thrown in his direction. Taz is learning loose-leash walking. He is always excited for walks; when the leash appears, he will jump at least a foot straight up in the air. (“Jump!” is one of several dozen words he knows.) He is smart, alert and attentive, obedient, dutiful and protective – a playful and happy dog. He loves to roll around on fresh-cut grass and chase squirrels. He loves to give kisses.“
Taz has a scholarship for two free training sessions with a certified trainer from Underdog Academy.
History
