About Butch

Estimated age: 4 years
Gender: Male
Size: 10 lbs.
Location: Redwood City

Meet me at the Redwood City shelter on Saturday, September 7th for Clear the Shelters! My adoption fee has been sponsored and will be waived!

Introducing Butch, a lively and affectionate 3-year-old male cat with a zest for life! Butch has a bright and sunny personality, always eager to play, explore, and be the center of attention. He’s a curious and confident kitty who enjoys interactive toys, climbing to new heights, and soaking up all the love he can get. Butch is also a snuggler, happy to curl up with you after a day of fun. If you’re looking for a cat who brings energy, joy, and plenty of love, Butch is your perfect match!

Notes from foster parents:

Butch probably would do well with other cats, but I'm not entirely sure. I think that he would thrive well in a lot of different environments, but preferably in a calmer household, as is the case for most cats.

Likes to chase/dive for worm toys. Butch loves to follow you around, rub his face on you, and communicate all the cat thoughts he has! He probably has a degree in public speaking somewhere. He is also a big cuddle-bug and enjoys nap time on your lap once he is more comfortable with you. He also really likes sitting in boxes.

Butch is very, very talkative. He is loud. He needs an owner who doesn't mind loud meows. Sometimes, Butch just wants company or someone to walk with him to his hangout spots. Or, he wants attention. Other times, it's hard to figure out what he wants. He needs an owner who will be very patient with him and enjoys loud conversations. Butch is a big boy and he sometimes likes to be carried and given a tour of the house while talking the whole time. Yes, I've carried all 15 lbs of him, haha.

He is a gentle giant and such a mild-mannered boy. He is sweet and loves head rubs. I hope he can go to an owner who is prepared for his talkative nature!

History
