It's Raining Kittens! A Kitten Shower at Pets In Need

  • Pets In Need 871 Fifth Avenue Redwood City, CA, 94063 United States (map)

Kittens are super cute and everyone loves them, so shelters must not need help with them...right?

Wrong! In fact, kittens under 8 weeks of age are the most vulnerable population of animals in shelters in the US. They are euthanized by the hundreds of thousands every year because they require round-the-clock care that most animal shelters cannot provide. That's where you come in! Pets In Need rescues kittens from shelters across Northern California and we need your help to raise them for us until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and adopted! Come learn how!

Join us for an informational training session on how to care for neonatal kittens followed by an open house celebrating these little, purring bundles of joy!

10:00-11:00am: How to raise neo-natal kittens 101. This is an training session where we'll be covering a lot of information, so please leave young children at home. They are welcome to attend the party afterwards!
11:00-12:30pm: Party time! All humans welcome, even those who did not attend the training session! Join us for refreshments, shower games, and gift-giving of much-needed supplies as we prepare for the arrival of kittens to our shelter. Feel free to stop by any time during the open house!

Kittens need a lot of specialized equipment to thrive. If you would like to donate any items to help us care for these wee kitties, please see our Amazon wishlist here!

We hope to see you there!
