While Lara is good with children (ages 8 and 10) in her current foster home, she prefers a quiet and calm environment where she feels secure. She does best as the only pet and thrives when her humans are patient and understanding of her initial shyness. Lara has general anxiety and takes time to adjust to new people or situations, but with a little kindness and patience, she blossoms into a loyal and devoted companion.
