Accessing End-of-Life Support
Humane euthanasia is a merciful choice when
an animal is no longer experiencing a good
quality of life due to serious illness or
advanced age. We approach this responsibility
with the utmost care and respect, providing
guidance to ensure a peaceful, dignified, and
pain-free passing.
This service is available to residents of Los
Altos, Los Altos Hills, and Palo Alto at our Palo
Alto shelter. We will only consider medically
based requests.
After you complete the request form, our
medical team will review your information and
contact you to schedule an appointment.
Please note that we are unable to perform
emergency euthanasia, and response time is
24 to 48 hours.
At Home Euthanasia
