The City of Palo Alto’s Animal Control Officers respond to calls for service regarding stray, sick, injured, or aggressive and frightened animals (including wildlife) in the cities of Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills. - • Stray dogs
- • Sick, injured, dead animals (including wildlife)
- • Aggressive or frightened animals
- • Animal bites
- • Animal cruelty or neglect
- • Animals in distress
- • Livestock or pet show permits
- • Other municipal code violations (i.e. leash law reports)
